Chikara / Lycanthrophy - split CS (2018; Aural Onslaught, EUA)

Chikara é uma banda européia de Crust / HC / D-beat sem nacionalidade específica, formada por amigos oriundos de diversas partes do continente, (Suécia, Bósnia, Itália e Catalunha). Lycanthrophy é uma banda de fastcore / power violence formada no final dos anos 90, na República Checa. Juntas, as bandas entregam ao ouvinte um poderoso material: HC / fastcore metálico com alguns elementos de black metal aqui e ali.

'Chikara are a hyperactive raw crust/hc/d-beat band from Sweden, Bosnia, Italy and Catalonia formed in 2017. In this split release, they team-up with Lycanthrophy, an awesome fastcore/grind/pv act from Žďár nad Sázavou / Poděbrady / Pardubice, Czech Republic since 1998.' Together, Chikara and Lycanthropy deliver a powerful material: HC / metallic fastcore with some black metal elements.

Barback - Execration of Life + Skullgrave (2018; Fat Zombie, Brasil)

Barback é uma banda obscura de grindcore / death metal originária da França. Em 1992, lançaram junto ao selo brasileiro Rotthenness Records um 7" chamado 'Skullgrave'. No auge, a Rotthenness lançou em vinil bandas como Deche-Charge, Sarcastic, entre outras pepitas. Recentemente, o selo Fat Zombie lançou um bootleg em cassette que traz - além do compacto 'Skullgrave' - a rara demo tape 'Execration of Life' na íntegra. Segundo a Fat Zombie, o caprichado bootleg é o primeiro da série que almeja revisitar o catálogo da Rotthenness da década de 90, apresentando-o a novos ouvintes.

Barback is an obscure grindcore / death metal from France. In 1992, Barback released (along with the brazilian label Rotthenness) a 7" called 'Skullgrave'. In the 90's, Rotthenness released on vinyl bands such as Deche-Charge, Sarcastic, among others. Recently, the label Fat Zombie released a bootleg cassette containing - in addiction to 'Skullgrave' 7" - the demo tape 'Execration of Life' in full. According to Fat Zombie, 'Execration of Life + Skullgrave' is a first in a serie that intends to revisit Rotthenness 90s releases. DIY as fuck.
